History and genealogy are never boring subjects at the Franklin County Public Library District, as evident by the 1960's vintage clothes worn by the district genealogist in celebration of family history month. Past work experience in the fields of research and history have included positions with the Hamilton County Park District in Cincinnati, the Cincinnati Museum Center and the National Park Service at the William Howard Taft National Historic Site. In addition to working with local history and genealogy, Julie is involved with the Franklin County Cemetery Commission and is the Indiana Genealogical Society's representative for Franklin County. She is also a certified Master Gardener. Butterfly gardening is her hobby and over the years she has raised hundreds of Monarchs, Pipevine Swallowtails and Black Swallowtails. |
